Private Pay Home Care Services
If a patient is in our care and requires services beyond what Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance covers, VNSHS offers the following private pay solutions:
Caring Hearts Personal Care and Home Management
Caring Hearts Home Health Aides are New York State Certified and supervised regularly by a Registered Nurse. Our Caring Hearts program offers personal care, home management, nursing, telehealth virtual visits and other services that are no longer or not covered by your insurance plan.
All services are provided by VNSHS employees, not outsourced to another provider, with the participation of the patient’s Primary Physician. We work with you to create a plan that will help you to remain as independent as possible in your home.
Caring Hearts provides assistance with the following:
- Personal care
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Shopping
- Maintaining an exercise program
- Socialization and companionship
- Telehealth virtual visits
- Health maintenance
- Medication management under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (VNSHS policies apply)
Medical Transportation
A VNSHS Certified Home Health Aide is available to provide transportation to and from the patient’s home to their medical appointments if they require transportation. This a private pay solution provided to patients who receive or have received our skilled services.
